The Future of Medical Education Journal (FUTURE MED EDUC J) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published quarterly by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran.

The journal provides an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and scholarship in medical and health professions education, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, allied health professions, interprofessional education, and faculty development. Business Model and Article Processing Charge (APC)

The Future of Medical Education Journal is supported by the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, which provides the necessary institutional infrastructure and financial support for its operations. To cover the costs of high-quality peer-review, DOI assignment, and digital archiving, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. Editorial Independence: To ensure the highest scientific integrity, the editorial decision-making process is completely independent of the APC payment status. The decision to accept or reject a manuscript is based solely on its scientific merit and peer-review outcomes, regardless of the authors' ability to pay the publishing fees.

Authors retain the copyright of their published work.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 Unported (CC BY-NC 4.0) License, which permits non-commercial use, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation of the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.

Authors are permitted to archive the preprint, accepted manuscript (postprint), and published version of their articles in accordance with the journal’s self-archiving policy.
